Reentry Realities
A Survival Guide for Reintegration
How can you prepare now to live a successful life after incarceration? Learn not only why people fail reentry but also prepare yourself so that you can be one of the successful ones. This book is designed to take you through 18 chapters of facing why you went to prison, how you can prepare to reintegrate on the other side of the razor wire, and how you can make permanent changes in your life and the lives of those you care about.
Reentry Realities is a map and a survival guide to successfully navigate reentry both into your family and society.
This book speaks to you from the perspective of someone who can identify with you from personal experience - an inmate who tried more than once to make it after release.
What you can take away from this book is a better understanding of yourself and the most vital tools necessary for success upon reentry.
Classroom Setting
The 18-chapter Reentry Realities book along with the accompanying workbook makes classroom teaching on reentry easy and affordable. Reentry Realities can be taught by an inmate, for inmates. Everything that is necessary to begin a reentry class at your facility is provided and made easy. Hundreds of inmates have already graduated from the Reentry Realities courses now being taught in Ohio's prisons.
